Nuragic complex of Sa Sedda e Sos Carros, Nuragic archaeological site in Lanaitho Valley, Italy.

The archaeological complex includes circular and rectangular huts arranged around a central courtyard with a rainwater collection channel crossing through it.

The Nuragic village, used between 1200 and 700 BC, derives its name from coal miners who transported their wagons through the area in the 1800s.

The sacred spring features a central sandstone basin surrounded by seven limestone ram heads through which water flowed during ritual ceremonies.

Located at 300 meters above sea level, the site extends across 4 hectares with only a portion currently excavated for public viewing.

A lead plumbing system connected the ram heads to the central basin, demonstrating remarkable engineering capabilities for the ancient period.
