Tomba dei giganti di Li Mizzani

The Li Mizzani tomb features a central monolithic stele measuring 2.80 meters in height and a funeral corridor extending 6.10 meters in length.

The tomb was excavated in 1966 by Editta Castaldi after its partial demolition in 1918, when materials were removed for constructing a nearby stadium.

The Giants' Tomb represents a collective burial structure from the Nuragic civilization, designed to accommodate numerous community members after death.

From Olbia, visitors need to follow SS 125 toward Santa Teresa Gallura, then turn onto SS 133 and continue for 4.5 kilometers to reach the site.

The entrance portal displays an unusual smoothing on its internal perimeter, considered a construction error unlike typical exterior surface treatments.
