Jôf Fuart

Jôf Fuart is a mountain in the western Julian Alps that rises to 2666 meters (8747 feet). Its steep slopes and exposed ridges create a challenging climb for those with mountain experience.

The name comes from a misinterpretation of a Slovenian word that was later transformed into the Friulian form used today. This linguistic shift reflects the region's history of cultural exchange across language boundaries.
