Ortobene

Ortobene is a mountain summit near Nuoro with two recreational parks that dot its slopes and summit area. Walking through these spaces reveals views across the surrounding countryside and access to various natural areas.

A large bronze statue of Christ the Redeemer crowns the summit and overlooks the city below. The sculpture was installed in the early 1900s and has become a symbol recognized across the region.
