Palazzo Pucci

Palazzo Pucci, Mannerist palazzo in central Florence, Italy

Palazzo Pucci is a mannerist palace in central Florence stretching between Via dei Servi and Via Ricasoli. Its noble floor displays 16th-century frescoes and the Pucci family coat of arms.

Cardinal Lorenzo Pucci commissioned the central section during the 16th century. About a century and a half later, architect Paolo Falconieri expanded the building around 1748.

The palazzo houses the Emilio Pucci Heritage Hub, where textiles and documents reveal how the family shaped Italian fashion design. Visitors experience firsthand the creative legacy that influenced clothing styles across generations.

Visitors can explore the palazzo on guided tours that provide access to areas typically closed to the public. Advance booking is recommended since spaces are limited.

One room features neoclassical plasterwork inspired by Wedgwood ceramics as its decorative theme. A marble sculpture of the goddess Diana from the 18th century anchors this distinctive interior.
