Palazzo dello Spagnolo, Baroque palace in Rione Sanità, Naples, Italy.

The Palazzo dello Spagnolo contains a monumental double ramp staircase with octagonal courtyard, decorated with intricate stucco work by Aniello Prezioso.

Architect Ferdinando Sanfelice designed the palace in 1738 for Marquis Nicola Moscati, while Tommaso Atienza acquired parts of it in the late eighteenth century.

The palace demonstrates the architectural evolution of Naples through its Baroque elements and represents the social changes within the Sanità district.

Located at Via dei Vergini 19, visitors can reach the palace by taking Metro Line 2 to Piazza Cavour station or buses C51 and C52.

The building features an unusual dual staircase system, known as hawk wings, which earned Sanfelice the nickname Levata sotto among local residents.
