Santa Maria della Stella, Naples

Santa Maria della Stella is a Renaissance church in Naples with a facade designed by Bartolomeo Picchiatti and later completed by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro. The interior contains a main altar brought from another church, religious paintings, and a sacristy decorated with rococo details.

The church was founded in 1571 to house a sacred image brought from outside the city. It underwent reconstruction work and its facade was shaped by architects and artists working across the 17th and 18th centuries.
