Santa Maria della Stella, Naples, Renaissance church in Naples, Italy.
The church building features a facade designed by Bartolomeo Picchiatti in 1637, with subsequent completion by Domenico Antonio Vaccaro in 1734.
Originally constructed in 1571 to house a Virgin icon from Porta San Gennaro, the church underwent reconstruction in 1587 under architect Domenico Fontana.
The interior holds significant artworks, including an altarpiece by Battistello Caracciolo depicting Immaculate Conception with Saints Domenic and Francis from 1607.
Located on Via Stella 25, the church contains elements from other religious buildings, including the main altar from San Sebastiano church.
The sacristy displays rococo style craftsmanship executed by Luca Vecchione between 1740 and 1745, adding architectural variety to the structure.
