Palazzo Albertini di Cimitile, 18th century palace in Santa Teresa degli Scalzi, Naples, Italy.

Palazzo Albertini di Cimitile is an 18th-century palace in Santa Teresa degli Scalzi featuring a grand staircase set within a square frame supported by pillars. The staircase displays ornate cross vaulting reinforced by decorative stone bands.

Giovanni Battista Albertini, Prince of Cimitile, commissioned the building in 1774 after acquiring the land from Carlo Acquaviva d'Aragona. This construction reflected the growth of Naples' northern quarter during the late 18th century.

The noble floor now hosts a Buddhist cultural center that opened in 2023, showing how historic spaces serve new purposes today. Visitors can experience Eastern traditions within a classical Neapolitan palace.

The address is Via Santa Teresa degli Scalzi 76 in northern Naples. The palace sits in a residential neighborhood and is accessible by public transportation routes serving the Santa Teresa Scalzi area.

During construction, Augustinian monks stole piperno stone blocks from the site and hid them in their garden, facing legal consequences for the theft. This incident reveals the tensions between religious communities and new development projects of that era.
