Accademia dei Concordi di Rovigo

The Accademia dei Concordi houses a collection of 400 paintings and 250,000 volumes within a 19th-century Venetian palace building in central Rovigo.

Founded in 1580 by Count Gaspare Campo, the institution received official approval from the Republic of Venice in 1739 and expanded its premises in 1804.

The museum exhibits Renaissance to modern artworks while maintaining an extensive library containing illuminated manuscripts from the 14th and 15th centuries.

The institution welcomes 40,000 visitors annually and provides wheelchair access throughout its exhibitions and library facilities at Via Giuseppe Laurenti 8.

The collection includes original portraits of notable figures commissioned during the 17th century, forming the foundation of the current art gallery.
