Sant'Antonio da Padova in Via Merulana

The basilica features a brick facade with travertine elements, rising on a double flight staircase leading to a five-arch Doric portico entrance.

The church opened in 1888 when Franciscan friars relocated from Santa Maria in Ara Coeli due to Victor Emmanuel II Monument construction.

The interior contains frescoes by Bonaventura Loffredo depicting the Franciscan Order, along with paintings from multiple 19th-century Italian artists.

The church structure includes three naves with five chapels on each side, divided into two floors with a women's gallery above lateral naves.

An octagonal bell tower displays polychrome and gilded majolica spire, while pink marble columns separate the central and side naves.
