Bric Mindino, Mountain summit in Piedmont, Italy

Bric Mindino is a mountain summit in the Ligurian Alps reaching 1,879 meters, characterized by steep slopes and exposed rock faces. The terrain becomes more rugged as you approach the peak, with vegetation thinning out the higher you climb.

The trails over Bric Mindino originated in the 19th century when shepherds regularly moved flocks across the alpine passes. These ancient pathways remain the foundation of modern hiking routes today.

The summit attracts mountain enthusiasts from surrounding areas who gather to share their passion for alpine travel and exchange knowledge about local routes. These informal meetings have become part of the rhythm of regional outdoor life.

The main route starts from Colla di Casotto and features clear trail markings throughout the ascent, which takes about 4 hours. Standard hiking boots and basic mountain gear are needed for this climb.

On clear days, the summit offers sweeping views of some of the highest alpine peaks, including the Barre des Ecrins and Gran Paradiso in the far distance. This long-distance vista stretches across roughly 160 kilometers of terrain.
