Alpine Botanical Garden of Campo Imperatore

The Alpine Botanical Garden of Campo Imperatore is a high-altitude research center that spans multiple elevation zones and houses thousands of mountain plant species. The garden was founded and opened as a scientific center for studying alpine plants during the 1950s. It has since become an important location for understanding mountain ecosystems.
