Grand Hotel Majestic

The Grand Hotel Majestic is a seven-story palazzo building on Piazza dell'Unità Italiana featuring classical Italian architectural elements throughout its exterior and interior spaces. The hotel opened in 1972 after being commissioned by Banca Popolare di Novara and designed by architect Lando Bartoli. This opening marked a turning point in Florence's modern hotel development, connecting traditional palazzo architecture with 20th century hospitality functions.
