Museattivo Claudio Costa

Museattivo Claudio Costa is an art museum in Genoa housed in a former psychiatric hospital building, displaying paintings, mixed media works, and sculptures. The collection is exhibited in the Michelini therapeutic complex and features a sculpture garden within the surrounding grounds.

The museum was founded in 1988 as the I.M.F.I institute and renamed in 1995 following founder Claudio Costa's death. The transformation of a former hospital building into an exhibition space represented a new approach to art and healing.
