Parco Querini

Parco Querini is a landscape garden in Vicenza featuring classical design elements including tree-lined pathways and a central pond. A temple with Ionic columns stands beside the water, serving as the focal point of the entire layout.

The site was transformed in the early 1800s when a private owner converted former monastic grounds into a designed garden. The temple structure was added later and has defined the park's character ever since.

The park takes its name from the Querini family, who shaped this area of Vicenza for generations. Visitors can observe how the classical design reflects the tastes and values that local patrician families brought to their estates.

The park is accessible on foot from downtown Vicenza or easily reached by public transport. Visitors will find it most enjoyable during pleasant weather when paths are ideal for walking and exploration.

The grounds host various animal species including rabbits, ducks, and turtles living in a natural setting. Two river tributaries border the park, adding ecological richness to the landscape.
