Chiesa e convento di Santa Lucia

The Santa Lucia convent is a Franciscan monastery in Vicenza featuring a church and monastic buildings from different periods. The church contains four side chapels, while the monastery buildings display classical forms with Baroque details from the 17th century.

The monastery was founded in the 15th century and played an important role in the city's religious life for centuries. After suppression by the Venetian Republic in 1771, it was later restored by Reformed Franciscans in 1830.

This Franciscan complex reflects centuries of monastic life and prayer within the city walls. The name honors Saint Lucy, whose veneration was widespread throughout the Veneto region.
