Palazzo Verlato Putin, Renaissance palace in Villaverla, Italy.
Palazzo Verlato Putin is a four-story Renaissance building in Villaverla featuring Ionic half-columns and textured stonework on the lower floors, while upper levels display smooth surfaces. The structure is organized into multiple levels, including a ground floor, mezzanine, noble floor, and attic section.
Construction of this palace began between 1574 and 1576 under architect Vincenzo Scamozzi. The eastern wing was completed later, between 1590 and 1615, finishing the overall design.
The main rooms display wall paintings showing scenes from Giovanni Verla's life, each accompanied by Latin inscriptions that explain what is being depicted.
Visitors can explore the building across multiple levels and view different areas such as the ground floor and noble floor. It helps to allow enough time to thoroughly look at all the rooms and their details.
The interior walls feature extensive fresco paintings by Gerolamo Pisani depicting seasonal allegories and mythological figures in the various rooms. This artistic work gives each space its own distinctive story and character.
