Parco della Biodiversita' Mediterranea

The Mediterranean Biodiversity Park extends across 60 hectares of green space, featuring 20,000 hedge shrubs, 2,000 tall trees and 100 aquatic plant species.

The park emerged from the transformation of a former agricultural school site, with construction beginning in June 2001 and opening ceremonies in May 2004.

The grounds display contemporary art installations from international artists including Dennis Oppenheim, Tony Cragg, and Marc Quinn integrated throughout natural landscapes.

Visitors can access the park daily from 7 AM until 1:30 AM during summer months and until midnight in winter, with free admission throughout the year.

The park maintains a Wildlife Rescue Center dedicated to rehabilitating injured animals while hosting a Military History Museum within its extensive grounds.
