The Palazzo dei Diavoli features red brick construction with ornate architectural elements, positioned between Viale Cavour and Via Fiorentina, outside Porta Camollia.
Originally named Turcorum Palatium as residence of the Turchi family in the 14th century, the palace later transferred to the Buonsignori family through generations.
Local stories from 1526 tell of red lights moving through palace windows accompanied by women screaming, leading to its current name Palace of Devils.
The palace includes a chapel dedicated to Santa Maria degli Angeli, constructed in 1460, which now functions as an oratory for religious gatherings.
The structure gained its demonic name after the 1526 Sienese victory against papal forces, when mysterious events occurred within its walls.
