Riserva naturale Forra del Cellina

The Forra del Cellina is a nature reserve where the Cellina River has carved deep limestone gorges with sheer rock faces and cave formations throughout the area. The landscape features dramatic vertical cliffs and natural stone structures that dominate the protected zone.

Official protection status was granted in 1998 to preserve the fragile ecosystems of the gorge landscape. This decision reflected growing awareness about the need to safeguard river habitats in the region.
