Riserva naturale Forra del Cellina

The Cellina River has carved deep gorges through limestone rocks, creating vertical walls and natural formations throughout the 304-hectare protected area.

The establishment of the reserve in 1998 marked a crucial step in preserving the natural environment and protecting the diverse ecosystems of the region.

The reserve maintains educational programs that connect visitors with local traditions while emphasizing the relationship between communities and their natural surroundings.

Visitors can access multiple hiking trails, including the Trail of Dint and the Trail of the Caves Old Dam, with maps available at the Reserve Visitor Center.

The water system includes the convergence of three streams - Alba, Molassa, and Cellina - creating an interconnected network of ravines within the reserve.
