Pizzocco

Pizzocco is a mountain summit in the Dolomites with an elevation around 2,200 meters, marked by steep rocky slopes and jagged rock formations. The peak displays typical alpine architecture with sharp ridges and exposed stone faces that define the landscape of the range.

This mountain formed millions of years ago through geological processes that shaped the Alpine region and created the Dolomites. Over generations, it served local communities as a landmark and natural boundary marker between separate valleys in the Belluno area.

Pizzocco sits at a remarkable watershed point where rainwater from its slopes flows into three separate seas and oceans distributed across continents. This hydrological feature makes it a geographical junction that visitors often overlook.
