Nostra Signora di Soviore Sanctuary, Hilltop sanctuary in Monterosso al Mare, Italy.

Nostra Signora di Soviore Sanctuary is a religious complex perched on a mountain ridge above Monterosso, set within the Cinque Terre National Park. The site comprises a main chapel, outbuildings, and surrounding grounds overlooking the sea and the region's characteristic stepped hillsides.

The sanctuary first appeared in written records during the 13th century as an established religious site. By the late 15th century, papal recognition elevated its status and drew growing numbers of pilgrims from surrounding coastal communities.

The sanctuary is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and draws pilgrims who arrive on foot through traditional routes. The chapel and surrounding grounds serve as a pilgrimage destination centered on religious devotion and local spiritual customs.

Access is via a steep hiking path that takes about 45 minutes from Monterosso and requires decent fitness. Once there, a small restaurant serves local food and a handful of rooms offer overnight stays for those wanting to linger.

Local tradition tells of a wooden Madonna statue hidden during foreign invasions and later rediscovered through a miraculous sign. This story continues to hold special spiritual meaning for residents of the nearby coastal villages.
