Selva del Lamone natural preserve

The Selva del Lamone natural preserve is a regional nature reserve with dense forests, hillsides, and river valleys spread across central Italy's Lazio region. Marked trails wind through the varied landscapes, allowing visitors to walk through different environments within the same area.

The government established this protected area in 1994 to safeguard the ecosystems and natural diversity of the Farnese territory. This official recognition helped shield the forests and waterways from overuse and degradation.
