Tomb of Maria of Hungary, Gothic marble sculpture in Santa Maria Donnaregina Vecchia, Naples, Italy.
The tomb features a marble sarcophagus supported by four virtues, with angels drawing curtains to reveal the deceased queen's reclining figure.
Created in 1325 by sculptors Tino di Camaino and Gagliardo Primario, the tomb was commissioned by King Robert of Anjou for his mother Maria.
The monument displays seven small niches containing statues of the queen's children, including Saint Louis of Toulouse and Robert of Anjou.
The tomb stands on the left wall of the church nave, relocated from its original position during the reconstruction of the ancient church.
The queen appears twice in the monument: wearing a Franciscan habit while kneeling before Madonna and lying in state on the sarcophagus.
