San Giuseppe dei Ruffi, Naples

San Giuseppe dei Ruffi is a baroque church in the Naples historic center, accessed by a distinctive double-staircase ramp leading to its main facade. The interior features marble decorations and a dome with frescoes by Francesco de Mura, both created by local craftsmen.

The church was founded in 1604 when noblewomen converted a palace into a monastery and chapel. Over the following century, successive architectural modifications shaped its baroque form and structure.
