Villa Fürstemberg stands north of Mestre, featuring a three-floor palatial structure with symmetrical openings and the Fürstenberg coat of arms on its facade.
The property evolved from a 16th-century house owned by Alvise Foscarini into a grand residence, passing through Carreggiani, Papadopoli, and Fürstenberg families until 1935.
The villa grounds contain an International Sculpture Park displaying permanent monumental art pieces from different artists, opening to visitors in April 2024.
The villa currently serves as headquarters for Banca Ifis and allows scheduled visits through the Grandi Giardini Italiani organization.
The chapel within the villa complex was renamed from San Nicolò to Santa Teresa d'Avila during its restoration in 1841.
