Villa York, Private historic villa in Valle dei Casali, Rome, Italy

The villa stands between Gianicolense and Portuense districts, featuring high trees and rose gardens along the main entrance path.

Cardinal Henry Benedict, Duke of York, obtained the property after Zenobio Baldinotti first developed it in 1647 on former Church land.

The villa displays Baroque architecture by Pietro Paolo Drei and contains paintings by Giovanni Ulisse Cariaci from the late 1600s.

The property includes heated halls for winter events, a swimming pool, and fountains for summer celebrations with direct owner management.

An ancient Roman cistern runs underneath the villa, connecting to drainage passages throughout the surrounding territory.
