RCS Headquarters, Corporate skyscraper in Milan, Italy
RCS Headquarters is a modern office complex in northeastern Milan consisting of a 21-story tower paired with a lower C-shaped building forming a unified whole. The combined structure provides around 21,500 square meters of workspaces designed to accommodate approximately 1,100 employees.
The building was designed by architect Stefano Boeri following an international design competition held in 2001. Construction was completed in 2008, providing the media group with a contemporary headquarters reflecting modern workplace standards.
The building houses RCS MediaGroup, one of Italy's major publishing companies that produces many newspapers and magazines read across the country. It stands as a working center where editorial teams create content for millions of Italian readers daily.
The complex features flexible work environments and includes underground parking accessible through circular ramps for vehicle flow. Access may be limited as this is a private corporate facility, so visitors should inquire about entry possibilities beforehand.
The tower features a double skin facade with metal panels and glass that creates shifting light patterns as the day progresses. This layered approach also helps manage internal temperatures and lower the building's energy consumption.
