Palazzo Colocci

Palazzo Colocci is a Baroque house museum in Iesi with a collection of artworks and historical objects spanning multiple periods. The building features a grand interior staircase within its courtyard, supported by columns and covered by a domed vault.

The Colocci family acquired the property in the 15th century and made it their residence. Over the following generations, the building underwent multiple transformations, with a major Renaissance redesign completed in the late 16th century.

The palace takes its name from the Colocci family, who shaped the building over centuries through their residence and patronage. The rooms today reflect how wealthy families during the Renaissance and Baroque periods lived and displayed their art collections.
