Y-40 reaches a depth of 42.15 meters and contains 4.3 million liters of thermal water maintained at temperatures between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius.
The swimming center opened on June 5, 2014, designed by architect Emanuele Boaretto and measured by freediver Umberto Pelizzari before its official inauguration.
The facility serves as a training ground for professional divers while providing opportunities for underwater photography, filmmaking, and recreational diving activities.
Located within Hotel Terme Millepini, the swimming center offers various diving platforms, ranging from 1.3 meters to 12 meters in depth.
The center features an underwater transparent tunnel where visitors can walk through and observe divers, along with four artificial caves for speleo diving exercises.
