Museo dell'Aria e dello Spazio

The Air and Space Museum occupies Villa Zaborra, featuring 38 exhibition rooms dedicated to the evolution of flight from balloons to space exploration.

The museum opened in 1980 within a medieval castle that contains the rooms where Major Gabriele D'Annunzio planned the 1918 flight over Vienna.

Exhibition halls present over three hundred models of aircraft, including reproductions of Leonardo da Vinci's flying machines and historical aviation milestones.

Museum admission costs 10 euros for adults and 8 euros for reduced tickets, including access to the Rose and Labyrinth Park adjacent to the property.

The castle's cellar houses space exploration exhibits with models of the LEM lunar module and Columbia space shuttle among aeronautical artifacts.
