MAG Museo Alto Garda

MAG Museo Alto Garda sits inside a medieval fortress called Rocca and displays three permanent exhibitions covering regional art, archaeology, and local history. The spaces spread across multiple levels of the building and combine modern presentation with historic stone walls.

The Rocca was originally built as a defensive structure and served for centuries as a control point for the city. The building was later repurposed and now houses a museum presenting regional artworks and archaeological finds.

The museum is fitted with ramps and easily accessible for people with mobility restrictions. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes, as the stairs and levels of the medieval building require some walking around.

The Mastio tower of the Rocca can be climbed and offers a full view of the city and lake from the top. From this height, you get a clear sense of the city's position on the water and the surrounding mountains.
