San Pietro Celestino church

The San Pietro Celestino church features a concave facade with Corinthian pilasters, a central door flanked by columns, and a large baroque window.

The church underwent major transformations in 1735 with the addition of a rococo sandstone facade, followed by renovations in 1904 due to deterioration.

The church now serves the Coptic Christian Egyptian community in Milan while maintaining its status as an Italian national heritage monument.

The Gothic chapel at the base of the bell tower contains frescoes from the fourteenth century, created by Lombard masters depicting biblical scenes.
