Teatro Bramante, Historic theatre in Urbania, Italy
The Teatro Bramante features three tiers of boxes with a gallery, adorned with medallions depicting the four elements on its ceiling.
Built on the foundations of a 14th-century fortress, the theater underwent a complete renovation in 1726 under the direction of architect Pietro Abati.
The theater opened in 1864 with a performance of Verdi's Il Trovatore and was named after Renaissance architect Donato Bramante.
The venue contains 44 boxes spread across three levels, with an open balcony gallery above providing views of the performances below.
The original stage curtain and scenic equipment, created by set designer Romolo Liverani, remain intact within the neoclassical structure.
