Palazzo delle Scintille, Exhibition center in CityLife district, Milan, Italy
The Palazzo delle Scintille features a glass and metal elliptical dome reaching 32 meters in height with a rectangular base layout.
Architect Paolo Vietti-Violi designed this Liberty-style palace, which opened in April 1923 as the first sports venue in Milan.
The building served as a temporary location for La Scala Theater performances during the 1946 summer season following wartime damage.
The exhibition center contains 24,700 square meters of space and accommodates up to 13,500 visitors for various events and shows.
In 2021, the structure transformed into Italy's largest vaccination center during the COVID-19 pandemic response.
