Torre di Sfinale, 14th century coastal watchtower in Peschici, Italy.

The quadrangular tower stands 13 meters tall on three levels, with each side measuring 14 meters at the base near Scialmarino beach.

Alfonso Salazar, a Kingdom of Naples official, commissioned architect Giovanni della Monica to construct this defensive structure between 1568 and 1569.

The tower represents a component of the extensive coastal defense network that protected the Apulian shores from maritime threats during medieval times.

The structure exhibits deterioration with missing elements of its original crown and requires immediate preservation efforts to prevent potential collapse.

The tower contained a system of wooden stairs that guards would remove during attacks, later replaced with permanent stone access ramps.
