Gioia 22 Tower

Gioia 22 Tower is an office building in the Porta Nuova district reaching 121 meters across 26 floors with a distinctive slanted glass facade. Its geometric form dominates the surrounding business quarter through sharp angles and clean lines.

The tower was built after the demolition of an abandoned 1960s structure and opened in 2021. The site transformed from a neglected remnant of the past into a contemporary office complex.

The building embodies deconstructivist architecture through its angular forms and experimental structural approach. Its design stands apart from traditional office towers that define much of the city's skyline.

The building incorporates solar panels on its roof that significantly lower energy consumption. Visitors should note this is a private office building best appreciated from the exterior.

The structure overlooks the Biblioteca degli Alberi Park, one of Milan's largest central green spaces where visitors can stroll freely. The contrast between its angular modern form and the open green space below creates an interesting perspective on urban design.
