San Martino, Parish church in Valle di Cadore, Italy.
The San Martino church rises on a rock formation overlooking the Boite Valley, offering views of the surrounding Dolomite mountains.
The current structure, built between 1718 and 1719, replaced an earlier religious building and received its consecration in 1736.
The interior contains notable artworks, including paintings by Antonio Bettio depicting the Adoration of the Magi and The Last Supper.
Following recent consolidation work against landslides, the church reopened for worship activities on May 1, 2023.
The church stands on the remains of a Roman castle, combining religious architecture with an ancient military strategic position.
