Lagunasia, Theme park in Gamagori, Japan

Lagunasia is a sea-themed amusement park in Gamagori, Aichi, opened on 25 April 2002 inside the Laguna Ten Bosch resort. Its setting is a medieval Adriatic port town blending Spanish, Italian and Greek elements. The entrance facade is rough tan and grey stone with two crenellated square towers flanking a recessed arch, above which a curved relief reads "LAGUNASIA"; lighter beige plaster walls with jagged tops extend to either side.

The park opened in 2002 as part of the Laguna Ten Bosch resort complex, establishing a new entertainment destination in the region. A major roller coaster attraction was added shortly after the park's initial opening.

The park's setting is a medieval Adriatic port town shaped by trade with Spain, Italy and Greece. Its mascots Gato, Peat and Molsa appeared in 2004 with the Viva Piazza area. The facade carries the inscribed name "LAGUNASIA" above the entrance arch.

The park is easily accessible from the train station via a free shuttle bus service, making it convenient without a car. Those driving will find ample parking available on-site, though a fee applies.

One water-based attraction takes visitors through a temple-like waterway with a story centered on searching for a legendary sea creature. This immersive experience blends narrative storytelling with water ride mechanics in an unexpected way.
