Yuza

Yuza is a town that spreads across the northern section of the Shonai Plain, with sandy beaches forming its southern edge and a rocky coastline marked by distinctive reef formations. Human settlement in this area dates back about 7,500 years, as evidenced by remains found at the Koyamazaki archaeological site. This location received official recognition as a National Historic Site, highlighting its importance to understanding the region's deep past.
