Motomachi-Chūkagai Station is an underground metro station in Yokohama with an island platform and two terminal tracks on the fourth basement level. The station serves as the southern terminus of the Minatomirai Line and connects several neighborhoods.
The station opened on February 1, 2004, as part of the Minatomirai Line development project connecting key areas of Yokohama. With its opening, a direct metro link to popular areas of the city was established.
