Ninomiya, Coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

Ninomiya is a coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture stretching along Sagami Bay, with the Oiso Hills running through its landscape. Two rivers flow across the town, shaping its terrain and geography.

The area formed in 1889 when several hamlets merged to create Azuma village. It gained town status and its current name in 1935.

The Kawawa Shrine, an ancient Shinto sanctuary rooted in antiquity, shapes local religious practices and seasonal festivals that visitors can witness today. The shrine draws community members for prayers and celebrations, remaining a gathering place that reflects the town's spiritual identity.

The JR East Tokkaido Main Line provides direct rail connections to Tokyo, Yokohama, and Odawara, making the town easily accessible by train. The station serves as a convenient starting point for exploring the area or commuting to nearby cities.

The town balances traditional fishing and agriculture with serving as a bedroom community for workers commuting to major urban centers. This blend of rural and contemporary elements creates a distinctive character that reflects the region's practical evolution.
