Ninomiya, Coastal town in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
The town of Ninomiya stretches along Sagami Bay with the Oiso Hills extending from east to west and two rivers flowing through its territory.
Ninomiya originated from the merging of several hamlets in 1889 to form Azuma village, which later gained town status and its current name in 1935.
The ancient Kawawa Shrine, established during Emperor Suinin's reign, remains a central religious and ceremonial location for the local community.
The JR East Tokkaido Main Line provides direct rail connections to Tokyo, Yokohama, and Odawara, making Ninomiya accessible for both residents and visitors.
The town maintains a balanced economy between traditional fishing activities, agricultural production, and serving as a residential area for workers commuting to major cities.
