Naka district

Naka district encompasses two towns, Oiso and Ninomiya, covering 26.26 square kilometers in central Kanagawa Prefecture with a population of 62,522 residents.

The district emerged from the 1896 merger of Osumi and Yurugi districts, initially containing five towns and twenty-three villages under the new administrative system.
