Oiso Long Beach, Water park in Oiso, Japan.
Oiso Long Beach is a water park in Oiso, Japan, with ten different pools spread across expansive grounds near Sagami Bay. A 500-meter lazy river winds through the center of the facility, while a wave pool stands among the main attractions.
The facility opened in 1957 and was among the first large water parks along the Shonan coast in Kanagawa Prefecture. Its creation marked the start of a new era for recreational bathing in Japan.
The grounds follow typical Japanese bathing rules that visitors learn about at the entrance. Certain body markings are subject to special regulations here, as is common in public bathing facilities across the country.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance, with reduced rates available from 2 PM onward. Prices start at 1,100 yen for children and go up to 4,300 yen for adults.
The complex offers year-round indoor areas with bowling alleys, golf courses, and futsal fields alongside the summer water zones. These additional options make the site accessible even outside the bathing season.
