Hayama, Coastal town in Miura Peninsula, Japan.

Located at the northern end of Miura Peninsula, Hayama extends along Sagami Bay with a total area of 17.06 square kilometers.

The town gained its current administrative status in 1925 after merging six hamlets during the Meiji period reorganization of 1889.

The Museum of Modern Art in Hayama presents four to five exhibitions annually, featuring both Japanese and Western artists throughout the year.

Visitors can reach Hayama by taking a train to Zushi Station, followed by a local bus service to Morito Kaigan district.

The Japanese Imperial Family maintains their seaside residence, Hayama Imperial Villa, in this town since 1894.
