The museum exhibits include archaeological findings from the Mozu Kofun Group, matchlock guns produced in Sakai, and paintings depicting traditional shrine festivals.
Located within Daisen Park, the museum provides educational programs and maintains extensive collections documenting the evolution of Sakai through different time periods.
The museum houses a sandalwood statue of Avalokitesvara from the Asuka period and a lacquered drum-shaped sake barrel dating back to 1473.
