Memanbetsu is a dissolved municipality in Abashiri district on Hokkaido, now part of the town of Ōzora. The area was surrounded by fields, forests, and lakes, serving as a rural settlement with traditional Japanese houses, local shops, and shrines.
The village was established in 1921 in the Abashiri region and developed into a small rural community that lived from farming and fishing. It gained town status in 1951 before merging with Ōzora in 2006.
