Wolchulsan National Park extends across 56.6 square kilometers of mountainous terrain, featuring steep ridges, rocky formations, and diverse ecological zones at different elevations.
Established in 1988 as South Korea's smallest national park, this protected area contains three national treasures including the Wolchulsan Seated Buddha from ancient times.
The Dogapsa Temple within the park grounds represents traditional Korean Buddhist architecture and maintains its original state since the Korean War period.
Visitors access the park through Yeongam bus station, with clearly marked hiking trails leading to Cheonhwangbong Peak at 809 meters elevation.
The Cloud Bridge suspension pathway stretches 52 meters across a 120-meter-deep valley, connecting two sections of the mountain trail system.
