Seungdong Church

Seungdong Church is a church building and tangible cultural property in Insa-dong that blends traditional Korean architectural elements with Christian design. The structure features round windows and a main entrance oriented toward the distant Bukhansan Mountain.

The building arose in the early 1900s as Christianity was growing in Seoul. It became a significant meeting point in March 1919 when members organized gatherings related to the independence movement.
