Abramavičiai Palace, Classicist palace in Old Town, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Abramavičiai Palace is a classicist building featuring symmetrical architecture with columns and grand proportions on Town Hall Square in central Vilnius. The facade displays generous proportions typical of 18th century classical design.
The palace was built in 1697 as a merchant's residence and required reconstruction in 1748 after a fire under Andrzej Abramowicz's ownership. The rebuilding shaped its present classical appearance.
The palace now houses the Vilnius Juozas Tallat-Kelpša Conservatory, supporting Lithuania's music education and performance traditions.
The building sits centrally on Town Hall Square and is easily accessible on foot from major Old Town landmarks. A connecting passage to the nearby Church of St. Casimir allows exploration of both sites together.
The building experienced multiple ownership and functional changes, including periods as housing for Orthodox clergy and later as Jesuit property. This varied past reflects Vilnius's complex religious history.
